Making A Wedding or event Booking

1. Booking / Reserving Your Date

Bookings for Weddings have a minimum combined spend of £250, bookings for other events have a minimum combined spend of £200.

 

Wedding and Event bookings Bookings will not be reserved until a £100.00 non-refundable booking fee is received within 3 working days of the invoice date which will be deductible from the balance. Requested Wedding and Event dates will not be held until the booking fee is received.

In the event that the booking fee has not been received within 3 working days of the invoice the date will be released and available for anyone to secure.

If you are unable to make payment within 3 working days of the invoice but would still like to secure my service’s please contact me ASAP to request an alternative payment date however if this new payment date is not met then the date will be released.

Please note where the booking has been made within 6 weeks of the Wedding date I request that 100% of the payment is paid within 3 working days of the invoice.

2. Final Payment

The remaining balance will be required within 3 working days of the trial, if payment has not been received it will be taken that the wedding or Event day services are no longer required.

3. Surcharges

All travel expenses outside of the first 20 miles are to be covered by the client and will be added to the booking confirmation / invoice;

First 20 Miles From SL38RG – Included in the pricing

21 – 40 Miles – £15.00

4. Trials

A Trial will be arranged for around 6-8 weeks before your Wedding Day, or sooner if requested, which will take place once the £100.00 non-refundable booking fee is received. The booking fee reserves your Wedding or Event Day.

If a second Trial is requested an additional cost of £70.00 will be applicable plus travel expenses if this outside of 20 Miles from SL38RG.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations by You:

Should you wish to cancel your booking before the booking fee is paid no charges will be levied. If  however you cancel after the £100.00 non-refundable fee has been paid no monies will be returned.

In the event that a cancellation request has been made after the final balance has been paid the following will apply;

Cancellation 12 to 7 weeks prior to the Wedding or Event = 50% of the final balance lost

Cancellation 6 weeks or less prior to the Wedding or Event  = Total loss of all monies paid.

Should the client wish to cancel this booking at any stage written notice must be given to info@leannejaye.co.uk Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt of the written cancellation and you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that may have been levied

Cancellations By Me:

If the balance has not been received within 3 working days of the Trial it will be taken that the Wedding Day services are no longer required

In the event of extreme weather conditions, where the ‘Met office’ issues a ‘Red’ warning, there may be no choice but to cancel the booking for safety reasons, if this does occur the final balance will be refunded.

In the rare case of a severe illness preventing me from attending your Wedding or Event, I will do my utmost best to source an alternative Hairstylist to take my place, where a replacement cannot be found the final balance will be refunded.

(Large bookings can be made out of opening hours subject to availability and notice has been given , minimum spend requirements are met and deposit is paid to secure your date and time).

Once a booking has been made , services have been confirmed and deposit has been paid, deleting services are not permitted . Services can be added providing there is ample time . A request will need to sent in writing , this can emailed to info@leannejaye.co.uk
